YORK UNIVERSITY LIONS SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT

York University has a rich sports history filled with success, both in the classroom and within our athletic programs. The inaugural York University Lions Scholarship Golf Tournament is being held to celebrate this rich heritage and to raise funds for athletic scholarships to ensure our continued success.

In order to attract the brightest and best student-athletes, our goal is that this tournament will raise over $100,000, a portion of which would be matched by the Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS) in its 1:1 matching program. All money raised will go towards the creation of Lions' endowed and expendable scholarship funds. Our inaugural tournament will take place during Homecoming week on Thursday, September 30th at Clublink's King Valley Golf Club. Aptly named, King Valley majestically combines spectacularly beautiful terrain and design genius, creating one of Canada's most respected courses.

We need your assistance to continue to support and attract the best student-athletes. Please come and enjoy a day of golf at this exceptional course, celebrate our rich heritage, and assist us in ensuring its future through raising scholarship funds for the York Lions.
