SPORT CAMPS FOR CUBS
Sport & Recreation York is proud to announce its Summer Sport Camps for 2012. The camps offer young people exciting learning opportunities in a variety of disciplines.
Fundamental skills are taught with excellent instruction for participants at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Our goal is to provide a positive learning experience for boys and girls in physical activity and sport specific instruction, in a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment.

Our Staff
The York Summer Sport and Fitness Camps staff consists of:
- Head/Assistant coaches of York interuniversity sport teams
- Certified coaches, high school coaches and other skilled instructors
- Interuniversity athletes
- Students and staff of the Sport & Recreation York Program
- Experienced student from the York University Athletic Therapy Certificate Program All Summer Sport Camps Staff are experienced in working with children, have completed in-house training requirements and are Standard First Aid and CPR certified.
Medical and Emergency Services
Every precaution is taken to ensure the well being of all participants. This includes direct supervision by coaches. A student therapist-in-training from York's Sport Therapy Certification Program is on site during the entire camp and is available in the Tait McKenzie Centre.
