Student Client Services Representative
Student staff support the full time staff in enhancing the student experience. Duties include, but are not limited to: Welcoming students and visitors to the campus and specifically the Sport and Recreation Facilities; membership sales and renewals; operates computerized cash register and credit card and Interac debit machines; handles daily cash transactions; checking par-q information; providing in depth information about the facilities and events; enforcing building and university policies; performs laundry service to certain user groups; provides support to different student service units within Sport and Recreation; monitors the facility for compliance with scheduled use.
Audio Assistant
This position needs a person with a good inclination of music and fresh ideas on the fly. Duties include, playing of game music on computer (I.E. warm up music for teams, selecting music to create atmosphere during game) audio set-up and tear down (I.E. using a mixing board, wireless mics, amplifiers) as well as equipment inventory and organization. You will provide technical support during events using audio equipment as well perform monitoring of the Tait building Facilities and other duties as required (I.E. from time to time work in the customer service area of the Tait McKenzie building during peak times). Enthusiasm is a must! Excellent opportunity to see how a sporting event is run!
Video Assistant
Duties include video recording of sporting events. Video equipment set-up and tear down as well as equipment inventory and organization. You will provide technical support during events as well perform monitoring of the Tait building facilities and other duties as required (I.E. from time to time work in the customer service area of the Tait McKenzie building during peak times. This is an excellent opportunity to see how a sporting event is run!
Event Set-Up Crew
You will work as a team and/or independently to assist it the running of athletic events. Responsibilities include: Set up of equipment (I.E. Tables, chairs and game specific equipment) for varsity, rentals, intramural and academic events; Providing support (IE. Show users how to use a score board, assist in the set up of sound or video); Performing other game day duties as required (I.E provide customer service to patrons, assist with the promotions crew activities); Providing office/clerical support; Providing inventory support throughout the year; All required training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to see how a sporting event is run!
Event Team Leader
You will lead a team to assist it the running of athletic events. Responsibilities include: Providing support to all event team members when necessary; Ensuring that all setup is completed in accordance to regulation; Overseeing events and troubleshooting when necessary; Assisting with the scheduling of staff to different events; Assisting with clerical/office support; Assisting to manage inventory throughout the season; Providing recommendations and feedback to Event Coordinator; Assisting in the planning and coordination of special events (I.E. ceremonies, recognitions, tournaments).
Minor Officials

As a minor official, you will be required to attend various varsity games and perform duties such as scorekeeper; timer; ball person; goal judge; announcer; shot-clock operator.
In-Game Volunteer

As an in-game volunteer, you will be required to attend various varsity games and perform duties such as DJ; Play-by-Play Commentator; Color Commentator; In-Game Staff.
