Canlan Ice Sports is one of most outstanding arena facilities in North America. Located on the Keele Campus at York, it is privately owned and operated. The land lease agreement with the University ensures that this facility serves as home base for the interuniversity men's and women's ice hockey teams, and makes provision for York students to use the facility for skating and pick-up hockey during designated day-time hours.

The arena facility includes five NHL-sized rinks and one international-sized rink with seating capacity for 1,700 fans. There is also a 600-seat restaurant and lounge overlooking the rinks, a conditioning centre, a pro shop and a food court.
