Last year we had a tremendous start with our inaugural tournament, raising close to $50,000 to benefit our student-athletes. This year, we are hoping our total will reach our goal of $100,000, a portion of which will be matched by the Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS) in its 1:1 matching program. All money raised will go towards the Lions’ endowed and expandable scholarship fund.
Our tournament will take place during Homecoming Week, on Thursday, September 22, 2011, at Emerald Hills Golf Club. Carved out of the dense woods of the picturesque Oak Ridges Moraine, Emerald Hills has all the attributes of a top-level course and is known as one of the toughest and most beautiful tests of golf skill in Ontario.

Adopt-an-Athlete Caddie - $500
Opportunity to have a York Lions student-athlete caddie for you!This is an opportunity for you to get to know one of the York Lions' incredibly talented student-athletes one-on-one and spend an unforgettable golf day with them. Our student-athletes are happy to caddie for you and will rake traps and help spot your ball. Your Adopt-an-Athlete Caddie will stay with your foursome for the tournament and join you for the lunch afterwards.
