YORK'S FIRST STUDENT ESTABLISHES HOCKEY BURSARY
When York University opened its doors on Sept. 15, 1960, the first student to register was Douglas Rutherford. More than 40 years later he has given back to York in the form of a hockey bursary which will reward one deserving hockey athlete annually.
